Our brand-new office space spread over three floors

In December we were ecstatic to move into our brand-new office space. We fully re-modelled and refurbished the building to facilitate the company’s needs, spread across three floors that includes our reception and the following offices: Administration, accounts, site team, commercial team and our directors’ offices.

Lynton House

Lynton House is a completed project that was led by Joe Imber and Steve Francis, together with Project Lead Jacob Adekunle from the local authority. This four-week project included replacing all floor coverings, the complete decoration of both male and female WC’s, the supply and installation of new Vado basin mixers and Dyson Airblade hand dryers throughout the building. Due to the office building being occupied during the renovations, it was logistically impossible to close the WC’s. To overcome this, our team managed to periodically carry out the work in stages, liaising with onsite facilities management team regularly to avoid disruption to the staff and visitors. Longley have been entrusted by the local authority on several other similar projects due to our guaranteed quality of service, flexibility, dependability, and understanding of their delivery expectations.

This specialist Art Studio offers advanced facilities for young and upcoming artists.

Working closely with City & Guilds, we installed a new specialist suspended heating ceiling, electrical upgrade works and associated building works to the Stone and wood carving studios. All works achieved on schedule and within budget.

One of the most innovative and expensive new buildings in corporate Britain is Glaxo Smith Kline’s 3,200 staffed head office. Halfway between central London and Heathrow airport – is so large it has a high street, with cafes, shops and even a beauty salon at its heart.

Our team have carried out numerous upgrade, refurbishment and maintenance tasks through out the site and continue to support the team at Glaxo Smith Kline’s offices on a daily basis and for larger projects.

Moscot House

Refurbishment of a brand new opticians, located in the heart of London’s Covent Garden

This project saw the combined fast track refurbishments of the New York based Moscot’s first London office. The works were planned around the Christmas 2019 shopping period and it was absolutely crucial that the store was operational for the Christmas trade.

Moscot’s first London store was refurbished with contractor designed services installations and sympathetic restoration of the buildings original details. Bespoke Light fittings were shipped in from NYC and all of the store’s furniture meticulously designed to meet the clients requirements.

Greenwich Islamic Centre

Extensive refurbishment and full re-design of Phase 1A basement and ground floor leading to the refurbishment of levels 1 & 2

The London Islamic Centre phase 1a of this project is now complete, this site will eventually lead to the completion of a 5000-capacity mosque. This will result in one of the largest prayer capacities in London.

The project for Phase 1A was initially for 21 weeks with additional variations to suit the most up to date fire strategy regulations, such as smoke extraction and a sprinkler system. Daniel Lines is the Project Manager and it has been running with up to 30 operatives daily. The project involves the full refurbishment and mechanical and electrical package of Phase 1A basement and ground floor. The project total currently stands at £1.5m. This first phase of the project will eventually lead to the refurbishment of levels 1 & 2 with a mechanical and electrical package also.

Conversion of office space into a new collaborative working space on Southwark Bridge Road

Our team worked with TLS Investments to convert an existing office building in the heart of London Bridge into a brand-new collaborative working space. Following the strip out, demolition and removal of existing services, fixtures and fittings, the Longley team constructed new layouts to suit the requirements of the brand-new collaborative working space. As well as the new layouts and full refurbishment, we supplied and fitted all of the office furniture and installed a large bespoke, modern graffiti wall.

Our team worked closely with Hush Consultancy and Canon UK to refurbish and remodel an existing office building in the heart of Farringdon, London. Following the strip out, demolition and removal of existing services, fixtures and fittings, the Longley team constructed new layouts to suit the requirements of the brand-new client facing marketing suite. As well as the new layouts and full refurbishment, we manufactured all of the bespoke office furniture to offer Canon a turnkey solution.
